In the attached notice, the Canadian Securities Administrators, other than the Ontario Securities Commission, (CSA) are publishing for comment proposed National Instrument 11-102 Passport System, its related form and companion policy and proposed consequential amendments to and repeal of some other national instruments and policies (proposed passport system).

The commission is also publishing for comment in a separate notice (BC Notice 2007/13) related consequential rule changes we propose making (BC consequential rule changes). They are:

  • adopting Multilateral Instrument 52-110 Audit Committee, its related forms and companion policy
  • repealing BCI 52-509 Audit Committees, and
  • repealing sections 144 and 145 of the Securities Rules.

The CSA notice describes where you can direct your comments and questions on the proposed passport system. The CSA will consider all comments received by May 28, 2007.

BC Notice 2007/13 also requests comments on the BC consequential rule changes by May 28, 2007.
