On July 8, 2009, the BC Court of Appeal struck down section 148 of the Securities Act [Shapray v. British Columbia (Securities Commission), 2009 BCCA 322]. That section prohibited the disclosure of investigation information. The Commission has revoked BC Instrument 15-501 and accompanying BC Policy 15-501 that deal with disclosure of investigation information.
