IN THE MATTER OF THE REVOCATION OF BOR#96/5

Revocation Order Under Section 171

WHEREAS on March 29, 1996 the Commission issued BOR#96/5 in order to provide certain exemptions from the application of section 110.1(1)(b) of the Securities Act, S.B.C. 1985, c. 83 (now section 127(1) of the Securities Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 418) to a purchase or sale of a mortgage by a mutual fund from or to the account of a responsible person;

AND WHEREAS on June 30, 1998, the Commission issued BOR#98/5 to replace BOR#96/5;

AND WHEREAS the Commission considers that it would not be prejudicial to the public interest to do so;

IT IS ORDERED under section 171 of the Securities Act that BOR#96/5 is revoked.
