Effective May 1, 1998, the Commission, together with the Canadian securities regulatory authorities in the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario, is rescinding Uniform Act Policy No. 2-10: "Insider Trading Reports - Persons Required to Report in More than One Capacity" (the "Policy").
A Notice respecting the proposed rescission of the Policy was published in the Weekly Summary on December 5, 1997 (NIN#97/50). Interested parties were invited to make written submissions with respect to the proposed rescission. No submissions were received.
