Media Advisory: School District No. 23 and BCSC announce 2007 grad survey results

Vancouver - The British Columbia Securities Commission will be in Kelowna on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008 to announce the findings of the 2007 Graduate Outcomes Survey with School District No. 23. This year the school district, in partnership with the BCSC, added 13 new financial life skills questions to its annual survey that assesses how well Central Okanagan School District high school graduates feel their education prepares them for life, work, post-secondary education and managing their finances.
 
Members of the media can arrange for interviews with Norm Bradley, Director of Instruction, SD No. 23 and Patricia Bowles, Director, Communications and Education, BCSC on Feb. 28, 2008. Both Norm and Patricia will be available for interviews during the day of Feb. 28, 2008, and in the evening at a presentation to parents of high school students regarding the need for improving the financial life skills of today's youth.
