BCSC chair addresses Vancouver Board of Trade

Vancouver - Doug Hyndman, British Columbia Securities Commission Chair, will speak to members of the local investment industry and business community about issues pertaining to the province's capital markets at the Vancouver Board of Trade on Monday, June 25, 2007.

Hyndman will speak about significant issues facing Canadian securities regulators, plans the BCSC has for dealing with unscrupulous promoters, and the initiatives the provincial regulator has taken in the past year to protect and educate B.C. investors.
