Commission approves compliance officer for exchange contracts dealer

Vancouver – The B.C. Securities Commission has approved Patrick Yao’s application to become a compliance officer of Aspen Futures & Options Inc., a Vancouver-based exchange contracts dealer.
Yao is a principal, managing director and a registered representative of Aspen.
A commission panel concluded that Yao meets the proficiency requirements as a compliance officer for an exchange contracts dealer.
The B.C. Securities Commission is the independent provincial government agency responsible for regulating trading in securities and exchange contracts within the province.
