Harvard corporate governance expert to speak in Vancouver

Vancouver – A renowned expert in corporate governance will share his views on the future for corporate boards at a two-day conference tackling key issues in corporate governance.

Author and Harvard professor Jay W. Lorsch will headline a roster of speakers that include leading authorities on corporate governance from the U.S. and Canada at Future Directions for Corporate Governance: Learning from those Who Lead, Nov. 24-25 at the Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue, 580 W. Hastings St.

Media are invited to attend sessions throughout the third-annual event.

The conference is presented by Board Resourcing and Development, Office of the Premier of B.C. and Women in the Lead Inc., a group dedicated to assisting qualified women attain board appointments. The program is supported by the B.C. Securities Commission and the TSX Venture Exchange.
