Surrey man charged by RCMP agrees to BCSC cease trade order

Vancouver – The B.C. Securities Commission has barred from the capital markets a suburban Surrey man charged with four counts of violating the Securities Act.

On March 13, 2002, the RCMP charged Narvin Wray Edwardson with violating the Act for distributing securities without a prospectus and without registration.

Edwardson was arrested by the RCMP in Surrey on March 15.

The B.C. Securities Commission is the independent provincial government agency responsible for regulating trading in securities and exchange contracts within the province.
