¶ 1 The Executive Director issued a notice of hearing on March 6, 2006. She makes allegations and asks the Commission to hold a hearing to determine whether it is in the public interest to make orders against Seto under section 161 of the Act.
¶ 2 On May 8, 2006, the Commission held a hearing to set the dates for the hearing of this matter. Seto did not appear.
¶ 3 At the hearing, on the application of the Executive Director, the Commission directed that:
a. questions of liability and sanction will be heard together, and
b. the hearing will be in writing.
¶ 4 The timing for written submissions is as follows:
a. Counsel for the Executive Director will send submissions and affidavit evidence to Seto and the Commission by June 9, 2006,
b. Seto will send submissions and any affidavit evidence to counsel for the Executive Director and the Commission within four weeks of receiving the Executive Director’s submissions, and
c. Counsel for the Executive Director will send reply submissions to Seto and the Commission within two weeks of receiving Seto’s submissions.
