Ruling
¶ 1 On June 7, 2011 the executive director issued a notice of hearing containing allegations that Ajit Singh Basi contravened the Securities Act,RSBC 1996, c. 418.
¶ 2 On July 12, 2011, the Commission set the hearing for October 13, 2011. Basi did not attend.
¶ 3 On September 8, 2011, the executive director applied to have the hearing conducted in writing, and to have issues of liability and sanction heard at the same time.
¶ 4 I rule that the hearing be conducted in writing, and the issues of liability and sanction be heard at the same time.
¶ 5 I direct the executive director to file disclosure and submissions by October 13, 2011.
