Background
- The Executive Director of the British Columbia Securities Commission has entered into a settlement agreement with Saad Hayek, a.k.a. Sid Hayek (Hayek), a copy of which is attached as Schedule A.
Order - The Executive Director, considering it to be in the public interest to do so, orders (the Order) under section 161(1)(b)(ii) of the Act that Hayek is prohibited for 2 years from trading or purchasing any securities or exchange contracts of any issuer with whom he is in a special relationship.
