IN THE MATTER OF PAUL DOUGLAS BAJUS
Agreed Statement of Facts and Undertaking
The following agreement has been reached between Paul Douglas Bajus (“Bajus”) and the Executive Director:
As a basis for the undertaking referred to below, Bajus acknowledges the following facts as correct:
1. Bajus was registered as a mutual fund salesperson from February 5, 1993 with Ascot Financial Services Limited until May 30, 1995. Bajus was then registered as a mutual fund salesperson with Independent Wealth Management Inc. from June 1, 1995 until October 23, 1998;
2. On November 5, 1998, Bajus signed an order for a client to switch from one mutual fund to another. The order indicated that Bajus was a salesperson for Independent Wealth Management Inc. when in fact Bajus was not registered.
3. Bajus undertakes to pay to the order of the Commission a penalty of $500.00 on the execution of this agreement.
4. Bajus undertakes to comply with the provisions of the Act and the Securities Rules from the date of this agreement.
5. Bajus waives any right he may have, under the Act or otherwise, to a hearing, hearing and review, judicial review or appeal relating to, in connection with or incidental to this agreement.
