  • BC Notice 2008/22  - Second Request for Comments Proposed Repeal and Replacement of Multilateral Instrument 52-109 Certification of Disclosure in Issuers' Annual and Interim Filings [BCN]

    This notice re-publishes proposed NI 52-109, the related forms and companion policy, for a 60-day comment period. The proposed instrument, which will replace existing MI 52-109, adds new requirements for management of a non-venture issuer to certify that they have evaluated the effectiveness of internal control over financial reporting and caused the issuer to disclose any material weaknesses in its MD&A. The comment period ends on June 17, 2008.

  • BC Notice 2008/23 - Advance Notice Adoption of amendments to National Instrument 51-102 Continuous Disclosure Obligations and related consequential amendments and Adoption of amendments to National Instrument 52-108 Auditor Oversight [BCN]

    This notice announces amendments to National Instrument 51-102 Continuous Disclosure Obligations that permit shareholders to solicit proxies in certain circumstances without an information circular, along with other consequential amendments to a related form, the companion policy and other instruments. The amendments also remove carve-outs from certain provisions in NI 51-102 in some jurisdictions.  The amendments to National Instrument 52-108 Auditor Oversight remove carve-outs in British Columbia, Alberta and Manitoba from s. 2.1 and Part 3 of NI 52-108.
