The British Columbia Securities Commission today released its decision in the matter of Irving S. Lindzon.

The Commission ordered Lindzon to comply with the insider reporting requirements of the Securities Act and ordered the removal of his trading rights and prohibited him from becoming or acting as a director or officer of a reporting issuer until two years from the date upon which he has filed insider reports satisfactory to the Commission. Lindzon was also ordered to pay the costs of the hearing.

Lindzon was a director of International Sterling Holdings Inc., a reporting issuer listed on the Vancouver Stock Exchange. The Commission found that Lindzon traded significant volumes of Sterling shares, filed false insider reports with respect to his trading in Sterling shares for the period November 1986 through January 1987, and deliberately disregarded regulatory requirements.

Copies of the Commission's decision (7 pages) may be obtained in person at 1100 - 865 Hornby St., Vancouver
