- BC Notice 2001/63 - Advance Notice of Multilateral Instrument 45-102 Resale of Securities and Related Documents
This Notice was published concurrently with the OSC's publication (link no longer operational) of this instrument. The Commission expects to make the instrument as a rule effective November 30, 2001, if the required government approval is received on or before that date. The instrument prescribes when a purchaser of securities under exemptions from the prospectus requirement can resell those securities. It also prescribes when a distribution of securities from a control block can be made. It harmonizes these provisions in all jurisdictions except Quebec and reduces the restricted period or seasoning period where a reporting issuer provides the market with current information concerning its affairs.
