This Staff Notice provides guidance about how to determine the constant price to be used in estimating bitumen reserves and related future net revenue for the purposes of National Instrument 51-101 Standards of Disclosure for Oil and Gas Activities.

This notice announces that, effective February 9, 2005, the CSA are amending National Instrument 54-101 Communication with Beneficial Owners of Securities of aReporting Issuer to improve the procedures for a reporting issuer to provide proxy-related materials to beneficial owners and for a beneficial owner to provide voting instructions.
