The Commission, together with other members of the CSA, is seeking comment on a number of amendments to National Instrument 45-106 Prospectus and Registration Exemptions, its related forms, and companion policy.  If adopted, these would replace the current versions of NI 45-106, its related forms, and companion policy.

The CSA is also publishing proposed amendments to National Instrument 45-102 Resale of Securities, its related form, and companion policy for comment.

The CSA notice describes what the Commission and the rest of the CSA are proposing.

  • BC Notice 2008/11 - Request for Comment on proposed National Instrument 31-103 Registration Requirements, proposed Companion Policy 31-103 Registration Requirements, proposed BC Instrument 33-5** Registration Requirements, and proposed consequential amendments to local and national instruments.

This notice announces the publication of a revised draft National Instrument 31-103 and related documents (the proposed rule).  The proposed rule will create streamlined, harmonized, and modernized national registration requirements for all Canadian registrants. It is the foundation for moving to a successful passport system for registration. The CSA first sought comments on these documents in February 2007. The CSA will consider all comments received by May 29, 2008.
