  • BC Notice 2008/34 - Advance Notice BC Instrument 51-509 Issuers Quoted in the U.S. Over-the-Counter Markets, Companion Policy 51-509CP, and BC Forms 51-509F1, 51-509F2, 51-509F3 and 51-509F4 and Advance Notice of Consequential Amendments to BC Instrument 11-502 Voluntary Surrender of Reporting Issuer Status and Companion Policy 11-502CP BC Policy 13-601 Required Forms and Index of Forms BC Instrument 52-511 Relief for Venture Issuers from Certain Certification Requirements and Advance Notice of  BC Instrument 71-503 Material Change Reporting by OTC Reporting Issuers

    This notice announces the expected implementation, effective September 15, 2008, of BC Instrument 51-509 Issuers Quoted in the U.S. Over-the Counter Market, and its related companion policy, 51-509CP and forms, BC Forms 51-509F1, 51-509F2, 51-509F3 and 51-509F4.  BCI 51-509 designates OTC issuers with a significant connection to British Columbia as reporting issuers.  BC 51-509 includes some additional disclosure requirements, restricts the use of certain exemptions from disclosure and other requirements, and restricts the resale of securities sold by private placement.

    This notice also announces consequential amendments to BC Instrument 11-502 Voluntary Surrender of Reporting Issuer Status and its companion policy 11-502CP, BC Policy 13-601 Required Forms and Index of Forms, and BC Instrument 52-511 Relief for Venture Issuers from Certain Certification Requirements and a new instrument, BC Instrument 71-503 Material Change Reporting by OTC Reporting Issuers.   The consequential amendments and BCI 71-503 will be effective on the same date as BCI 51-509.

  • CSA Staff Notice 52-322 - Status of Proposed Repeal and Replacement of Multilateral Instrument 52-109 Certification of Disclosure in Issuers' Annual and Interim Filings

    This notice communicates CSA staff's intention to recommend no change to the proposed effective date of December 15, 2008 for the new certification rule (NI 52-109). It also advises that staff do not plan to recommend any material amendments to the materials published for comment on April 18, 2008.

  • BC Notice 2008/35 - The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada - Notice of Consent to Co-operative Agreement in Québec

    This notice announces that on July 8, 2008, the Commission consented to the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada's continued participation in a co-operative agreement in Québec.
