This CSA notice announces the approval of a number of omnibus/blanket orders to address a number of unanticipated issues related to the introduction of National Instrument 31-103 - Registration Requirements and Exemptions that need to be addressed immediately. The orders become effective on February 26, 2010. Copies of the specific orders are available on the BCSC website. - BCN 2010/08 - Adoption of BC Instrument 32-513 Registration exemption for trades in connection with certain prospectus-exempt distributions and its companion policy.
This notice announces the adoption of BC Instrument 32-513 and its companion policy. The instrument provides an exemption from the dealer registration requirement when trading in securities in connection with certain prospectus exemptions. The order is effective March 27, 2010.
