  • BCN2010/26 - Request for comment on proposed Form 45-106F6 British Columbia Report of Exempt Distribution and amendments to National Instrument 45-106 Prospectus and Registration Exemptions [BCN]

This notice requests comments on proposed new Form 45-106F6 British Columbia Report of Exempt Distribution. The new form is intended to replace Form 45-106F1 Report of Exempt Distribution for distributions made in British Columbia. The new form would require disclosure of more information about the issuer and the purchasers when an issuer distributes securities in British Columbia using exemptions from the prospectus requirement. The notice also requests comments on proposed amendments to National Instrument 45-106 Prospectus and Registration Exemptions, Form 45-106F1 and 45-106CP. The comment period ends on November 9, 2010

This CSA notice announces the approval of two omnibus/blanket orders providing temporary exemptions for members of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada and the Mutual Fund Dealers Association from the obligations to provide the relationship disclosure information prescribed by National Instrument 31-103 - Registration Requirements and Exemptions. The orders become effective on September 28, 2010.  Copies of the specific orders are available on the BCSC website.
