Background:
The British Columbia Securities Commission recently became aware that Corolla Financial (Corolla) has solicited at least one person in British Columbia to make investments with Corolla.
On its website, Corolla states that it provides financial advisory and brokerage services to personal and corporate clients.
The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (DFSA) and the Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) of Belgium have issued warnings about Corolla.
Corolla is not registered in British Columbia to trade in, or advise on, securities or exchange contracts.
We urge British Columbia residents to exercise caution when dealing with firms that are not registered to trade or advise in British Columbia.
