The CSA published CSA Consultation Paper 33-404Proposals to Enhance the Obligations of Advisers, Dealers, and Representatives Towards Their Clients on April 28, 2016 for a five month comment period.
On November 29, 2016, the BCSC held a roundtable so that people could share their views about the issues raised in the paper with BCSC staff working on these reforms.
The roundtable session allowed staff to deepen our understanding of the issues arising from the targeted reforms. We appreciate the time and effort people took to attend and participate in this important discussion.
