51-518 - BC Instrument 51-518 Temporary Exemption from Certain Business Acquisition Report Requirements
Due to the provincial interregnum period during the BC general election and until a new Government Cabinet has been formed, the Government of BC is not in a position to consider the BAR amendments aimed at reducing the regulatory burden related to the business acquisition report requirements by the effective date of the amendments in other Canadian jurisdictions. This order will temporarily implement the outcome achieved under those amendments in BC.

This notice summarizes the results of the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) Continuous Disclosure Review Program of reporting issuers other than investment funds for the fiscal years ended March 31, 2020 and March 31, 2019.
