  • 51-518 - BC Instrument 51-518 Temporary Exemption from Certain Business Acquisition Report Requirements
    Due to the provincial interregnum period during the BC general election and until a new Government Cabinet has been formed, the Government of BC is not in a position to consider the BAR amendments aimed at reducing the regulatory burden related to the business acquisition report requirements by the effective date of the amendments in other Canadian jurisdictions. This order will temporarily implement the outcome achieved under those amendments in BC.
  • 51-361 - CSA Multilateral Staff Notice 51-361 Continuous Disclosure Review Program Activities for the fiscal years ended 
    March 31, 2020 and March 31, 2019

    This notice summarizes the results of the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) Continuous Disclosure Review Program of reporting issuers other than investment funds for the fiscal years ended March 31, 2020 and March 31, 2019. It also highlights certain elements to assist reporting issuers with their reporting requirements as applicable to financial statements, management’s discussion and analysis and other regulatory filings.

    The BCSC is publishing for a 90-day comment period proposed amendments to MFDA regulatory instruments to conform to requirements under the CFRs amendments made to NI 31-103. Section IV of the MFDA’s notice sets out the process for submitting comments
