Background:
We have learned that Occidental Capital Partners S.A. (Occidental) solicited and persuaded a British Columbia resident to purchase shares of Alternative Energy Partners, Inc. (AEP), a Florida corporation that has its securities traded on the OTC Bulletin Board under the symbol AEGY. The British Columbia resident provided funds to Occidental but appears not to have received AEP shares in return.
AEP’s legal counsel has advised us that AEP has no knowledge of Occidental and has never retained Occidental to provide investor relations, investment banking or any other services to AEP. On March 3, 2011, AEP posted a warning about Occidental on its Web site.
Occidental is not registered to trade in, or advise on, securities in British Columbia and is not registered in any capacity in the United States.
