Background:
The Saskatchewan Financial Services Commission (SFSC) issued a Temporary Cease Trade Order on August 24, 2012 against Ocean International Ltd. (Ocean), Manhattan Capital Corp. (Manhattan) and Wealth International Corp. (Wealth), after receiving complaints from Saskatchewan residents who had been solicited to invest with Ocean and Manhattan.
Ocean, Manhattan and Wealth have the same office address and telephone number and have identical Websites.
The British Columbia Securities Commission (the BCSC) is aware of at least one British Columbia resident who was solicited by Ocean but is not aware of any British Columbia residents who have been solicited by Manhattan or Wealth.
Ocean, Manhattan and Wealth are not registered in British Columbia to trade in, or advise on, securities or exchange contracts.
We urge British Columbia residents to exercise caution when dealing with firms that are not registered to trade or advise in British Columbia.
