Canada Bitcoin Exchange Inc. (CBE) claims to be a cryptocurrency investment firm, located at 5811 Cooney Road, Richmond, British Columbia (BC).

We recently became aware of CBE’s website. CBE claims to offer four “Investment Plans”, with returns ranging from 3,586% to 7,985% after 24 to 48 hours.

Cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin, are a subset of digital currencies. Cryptocurrencies are not fiat currencies. In certain circumstances, cryptocurrencies may be considered to be securities under the securities legislation in BC, and trading in or advising on them may require registration in BC.

CBE is not registered to trade in, or advise on, securities or exchange contracts in BC.
