Background:

We recently became aware of an entity (Delta India) that claims to be Delta Lloyd Investment Fund N.V. (Delta), with an office in Mumbai, India, which offers to trade investors’ money for a large return.

In fact, Delta is an opened-ended equity mutual fund managed by Delta Lloyd Asset Management that is registered with the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets, and has an office in Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, not in Mumbai, India.

Neither Delta nor Delta India is registered to trade in, or advise on, securities or exchange contracts in BC.

We urge BC residents to exercise caution when dealing with firms that are not registered to trade or advise in BC.
