SEDAR+

On July 25, 2023 - SEDAR+ replaces SEDAR, the Cease Trade Order (CTO) database, the Disciplined List (DL) database, and certain paper filings made in the BC Securities Commission’s eServices system and the Ontario Securities Commission’s electronic filing portal. SEDAR+ also includes a consolidated reporting issuers list from all provincial and territorial regulators.

This impacts the BCSC’s public website (www.bcsc.bc.ca) in the following ways:

  • As of July 25, 2023 the following BCSC web pages will be retired: Exempt Distribution Summary; Reporting Issuers in Default; Cease Traded Reporting Issuers List
  • Cease Trade Orders will no longer be published on the BCSC website and users will be instructed to go to the SEDAR+ website to access the national list of CTOs
  • As of July 25, 2023 we will offer only ‘historical’ records for Foreign Issuer Filings, Offering Memorandums, and Issuer profiles will only have Historical Exempt Distributions listed.

System for Electronic Disclosure by Insiders (SEDI) & National Registration Database (NRD) will not be migrated to SEDAR+ for the July 25, 2023 release.
