  • 51-366 - Regulatory Concerns with Certain Asset or Business Acquisitions

    The CSA have identified regulatory concerns with certain transactions in venture markets where reporting issuers acquire assets or business with little or no actual value or operating history at significantly inflated prices. These transactions raise regulatory concerns including potentially misleading disclosure that could constitute market manipulation. This notice highlights key investor protection concerns and reminds reporting issuers of the applicable regulatory requirements.

  • CIRO - Notice of BCSC non-objection to proposed amendments on Enhanced Cost Reporting

    This Notice announces the BCSC’s non-objection to amendments to Investment Dealer and Partially Consolidated Rules, and Mutual Fund Dealer Rules on enhanced cost reporting (the Amendments). The amendments harmonize CIRO’s cost reporting requirements with National Instruments 31-103 and expand Dealer Members’ responsibility to report to their clients to enhance transparency of investment fund costs. The amendments will be effective January 1, 2026.

  • TSXV - Notice of Proposed Amendments and Request for Comment

    TSXV proposes to make amendments to the TSXV Rule Book regarding enhancements to the Market on Open auction (MOO) as set out in the Notice of Proposed Amendments and Request for Comment published by TSXV.

    As set out in the notice, comments should be delivered to the TSXV, with a copy to the Commission, by August 5, 2025.
