- 51-102 - Amendments and Changes to Certain National Instruments and Policies related to the Senior Tier of the Canadian Securities Exchange, the Cboe Canada Inc. and AQSE Growth Market name changes, and Majority Voting Form of Proxy Requirements
The amendments revise the definition of “venture issuer” and address a number of matters, including the creation of a Senior Tier by the Canadian Securities Exchange. The amendments will come into force on September 19, 2025.
- 81-409 - Enhancing Exchange-Traded Fund Regulation: Proposed Approaches and Discussion
This paper outlines CSA’s perspective on potential gaps in the current regulatory framework for ETFs and proposes enhancements to address them. The recommendations draw on IOSCO ETF Good Practices and examine how various jurisdictions have implemented these principles, with the aim of identifying practices that may be suitably adopted to the Canadian market. The comment period will end on October 17, 2025.
