Vancouver – The B.C. Securities Commission (BCSC) is alleging that a Vancouver resident failed to comply with a demand to produce records.

In June 2024, the BCSC issued a demand to Lucas Christopher Birdsall to produce certain records, as required by B.C.’s Securities Act. The BCSC served the demand by mail, email and by posting it on his front door after several unsuccessful attempts to serve him in person.

Despite being granted two extensions to the deadline by the BCSC, Birdsall has not complied.

The BCSC’s allegations have not been proven. The Commission requires Birdsall or his counsel to appear at the BCSC’s offices on November 12, 2024 if he wants to be heard before a hearing is scheduled
