Corporate Finance Advisory Forum
The Corporate Finance Advisory Forum advises the BC Securities Commission’s (BCSC) Corporate Finance staff on policy initiatives, capital market trends, and other emerging issues affecting reporting and non-reporting issuers, including investment funds.The Forum acts as a liaison between the BCSC's Corporate Finance staff and market participants, providing them with information about the effectiveness of Corporate Finance initiatives and keeping them abreast of current business practices and emerging trends that may support practical, efficient and cost-effective regulation.
Forum members are industry professionals, investors, and experts from diverse backgrounds who contribute valuable perspectives to support the BCSC in its efforts to protect investors and foster capital raising.
Composed of volunteers who serve a three-year term, Forum members participate in various meetings and consultations over the fiscal year.
