Warning Against:

Scorpion Performance Inc.

• The Autorité des marchés financiers (the AMF), in Quebec, issued a warning about the activities of Scorpion Performance Inc. (Scorpion), a company based in Florida.  

  The AMF said that Scorpion solicits investors by telephone to buy shares in Scorpion, which is not registered with the AMF.
   
  In its investor alert, the AMF noted that, in recent years, securities regulators in France, Sweden and Belgium have also issued investor alerts about Scorpion.

  We are aware of British Columbia residents who have invested in Scorpion.

  Scorpion’s securities are not qualified by a prospectus. 

  We urge British Columbia residents to exercise caution when dealing with firms that are offering unqualified investments.
