After Submission
What happens once I submit my application to the BCSC?
Once you decide to apply for an exemption, you must then determine what type of application you should file. The types of applications include:
- Local & Passport Application Process
- Dual Application Process
- Coordinated Review Application
For local and passport applications where relief is granted, a letter is prepared and included with a certified copy of the order or decision document.
For dual and coordinated review applications where relief is granted, a letter is prepared and included with a copy (not certified) of the decision document. In both cases you can either send a courier to pick up the package or we will mail it to you.
You can file an exemption application for all orders using BCSC eServices.
