Yesterday, the Attorney General issued a request for comment on proposed amendments to the Securities Act to adopt a civil liability regime for secondary market investors. The request is located on the Attorney General’s website (www.ag.gov.bc.ca/legislation).
The comment period expires on July 19, 2006. Comments can be sent electronically to DeputyAttorneyGeneralsOffice@gov.bc.ca or in paper format to:
