NIN 95/04 - Amendments to Local Policy Statement 3-02, Blanket Order #95/1, Form 12A Summary Prospectus Disclosure System [NIN - Rescinded]

The Commission is publishing amendments to Local Policy Statement 3-02 and Blanket Order #95/1. This Notice provides background to the LPS 3-02 amendment and BOR#95/1.

The amendments to LPS 3-02 and BOR#95/1 implement the Form 12A Summary Prospectus Disclosure System as described in NIN#94/17. This system is available for use by junior industrial issuers required to file on Form 12A - Information Required in Prospectus of Junior Industrial Issuer.

The Form 12A Summary Prospectus Disclosure System consist of a summary prospectus prepared in accordance with the requirements set out in the Form 12A summary prospectus and a base disclosure document prepared in accordance with the requirements set out in Form 12A. The base disclosure document is incorporated by reference into and deemed to form part of the summary prospectus.

The amendments to LPS 3-02 consist of a new Part 11 that sets out the rules for the use of the Form 12A Summary Prospectus Disclosure System. BOR#95/1 permits the use of a summary prospectus and base disclosure document prepared in accordance with the amendments to LPS 3-02.
