On July 8, 2009, the BC Court of Appeal struck down section 148 of the Securities Act [Shapray v. British Columbia (Securities Commission), 2009 BCCA 322]. That section prohibited the disclosure of investigation information. In BC Policy 15-601 - Hearings, the Commission has deleted section 2.6(d) that deals with disclosure of investigation information. The revised policy accompanies this notice.
