Document(s):
The British Columbia Securities Commission has been striving to improve its service to industry. In order to help achieve this goal, the Legal and Market Initiatives Division (LMI) at the BCSC has prepared a step-by-step guide for industry and the legal community on what it expects in applications for exemptive relief. The guide is called The Exemption Application Process - From Start to Finish. It gives information on the process for both local and MRRS applications. It also gives helpful tips and reminders, and discusses the most common errors that may delay an application. The guide can be located under Industry Information on the BCSC website at www.bcsc.bc.ca. If you have any questions about this LMI initiative, you should contact the enquiries line at the BCSC at 604-899-6854 or toll free at 1-800-373-6393 (BC and Alberta only).
