Published Date: 2000-07-28
Effective Date: 2000-07-27

On July 27, 2000, the Canadian Securities Administrators (“CSA”) released “Making It Mutual: Aligning the Interests of Investors and Managers - Recommendations for a Mutual Fund Governance Regime for Canada”. The report was written by Stephen Erlichman, Senior Partner, Fasken Martineau DuMoulin, Toronto.

As an early part of this process, staff of the British Columbia Securities Commission will consult during the fall with mutual fund managers based in British Columbia.

The report is available on the Ontario Securities Commission’s website at

DATED at Vancouver, British Columbia, on July 27, 2000.
