In the attached advance notice, we and other members of the Canadian Securities Administrators announce the expected implementation of National Instrument 52-109 Certification of Disclosure in Issuers' Annual and Interim Filings, its related forms and companion policy (NI 52-109), effective December 15, 2008. NI 52-109 will replace Multilateral Instrument 52-109, its related forms and companion policy. The advance notice also announces consequential amendments to Form 51-102F1 Management's Discussion and Analysis.
When NI 52-109 comes into force, we will revoke the following BC Instruments, as they will no longer be needed:
- BCI 52-511 Relief for venture issuers from certain certification requirements
- BCI 52-510 Transitional variation of and exemption from Multilateral Instrument 52-109 Certification of Disclosure in Issuers' Annual and Interim Filings
