In the attached notice, the Canadian Securities Administrators are publishing for comment a proposed new insider reporting rule, National Instrument 55-104 Insider Reporting Requirements and Exemptions, the related companion policy, and related consequential amendments to other rules.

Local amendments
The Commission is also publishing for comment proposed amendments to the Securities Rules, B.C. Reg. 194/97. You will find them in Appendix L to the CSA Notice.

If proposed NI 55-104 is adopted, we would revoke BC Instrument 55-506 Exemption from insider reporting requirements for certain derivative transactions.

The CSA notice describes where you can send your comments and questions relating to the proposed instrument. We will consider all comments received by March 19, 2009.
