IN THE MATTER OF THE REVOCATION OF BOR#87/29 AND BOR#87/30

Revocation Order Under Section 171

WHEREAS on June 11, 1987, the Superintendent of Brokers issued BOR#87/29 and BOR#87/30 (the "Orders") to provide registration exemptions with respect to trades made under small shareholder selling and/or purchase arrangements by companies listed, respectively, on The Toronto Stock Exchange and The Montreal Exchange;

AND WHEREAS B.C. Reg. 351/97, known as National Instrument 32-101 Small Securityholder Selling and Purchase Arrangements, dated October 17, 1997 and effective December 1, 1997, provides adviser registration and dealer registration exemptions with respect to trades made under small shareholder selling and/or purchase arrangements by an issuer or its agents in securities of the issuer that are listed and posted for trading on, inter alia, The Toronto Stock Exchange and The Montreal Exchange;

AND WHEREAS the Executive Director (formerly called Superintendent of Brokers) considers that to do so would not be prejudicial to the public interest;

EFFECTIVE December 1, 1997, IT IS ORDERED under section 171 of the Securities Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 418, that the Orders are revoked.
