Audit Committee Review of Interim Financial Statements of Exchange Issuers
Order Under Section 3(8) of the Securities Rules
Definitions
1. In this Instrument
"Act" means the Securities Act (British Columbia), and
"Rules" means the British Columbia Securities Rules.
Interpretation
2. Terms defined or interpreted in the Act or the Rules have the same meanings in this Instrument.
Application
3. This Instrument applies to all exchange issuers.
Exemption
4. Section 3(12) of the Rules does not apply to interim financial statements filed under section 144 of the Rules, if the issuer’s board of directors approves the financial statements under section 3(13) of the Rules.
Effective Date
5. This exemption applies to interim periods that end on or after May 30, 2001.
