The Executive Director, being satisfied that there is sufficient justification, orders that the attached BC Instrument 41-502 entitled "Waiver - Firm Commitment Underwriting for Issuers Using OSC Prospectus Rule" is made effective December 31, 2000.

WAIVER - FIRM COMMITMENT UNDERWRITING FOR ISSUERS USING OSC PROSPECTUS RULE

Waiver Under Section 120(6) of the Securities Rules

 

Definitions

1. In this Instrument:

"Act" means the Securities Act (British Columbia); and

"Rules" means the British Columbia Securities Rules.

Interpretation

2. Terms used in this Instrument that are defined or interpreted in the Act or the Rules have the meaning set out in the Act or the Rules.

Waiver

3. The executive director waives the provisions of section 120(3)(d) of the Rules for any long form prospectus that an issuer files in British Columbia on or after December 31, 2000 if the prospectus complies with section 1.9(4) of BC Form 41-601F Information Required in a Prospectus.
